Ever flown business class? No? Neither had we until recently. Of course, you always secretly hope for a spontaneous upgrade at check-in – overbooking or some kind of miracle. Well, unfortunately, that never worked out for us. At some point, I simply helped myself. For our flight to Thailand, I spontaneously received an email with a really good offer for an upgrade – and hey presto, I secretly jumped at it. What a feeling!
Marco, of course, had no idea about any of this. Two days before departure, I secretly booked the upgrade and didn’t say anything. It wasn’t until I got to the airport, right at the baggage check-in, that I handed him his business class ticket. You should have seen his face – completely surprised and utterly astonished!
We were so excited – for the lounge, delicious food, and really comfortable seats at an altitude of 12,000 meters. And that’s exactly what we’re talking about in our new podcast episode! We’ll tell you in detail how the upgrade went, what to expect, and whether Business Class is really worth it. Enjoy!
