The ski season in Szklarska Poreba lasts from November to April, as all the tracks here are artificially snowed.

Here there are both the simplest tracks for amateurs and difficult descents for real professionals – one of them is even officially certified for holding various kinds of competitions.

You can ski at the resort in any weather, even snowless, as the resort is equipped with special cannons.

And about the mountain itself and skiing on it – you can rent ski equipment directly near the lifts or further away, where it will be cheaper, but the service may be a little less. Prices vary – skis, boots and poles can be rented from PLN 35; snowboard and boots for PLN 45-50 per day. A ski pass for day skiing for three days will cost PLN 227. There is a lift to the middle of the mountain, from which you can go down the blue slope or climb to the very top and fly along the black track. There is also a large lift right to the top.

You are allowed to climb to the top only without skis or snowboards. But even just walking along the top of Szczernica is expensive.
