Just 60 kilometers from Munich is the small Braunek ski resort, which is often called the “ski Eldorado”. Ski slopes and lifts

Braunek is surrounded by the highest mountain Lenggris, altitude +1555 meters. The resort has many trails that are suitable for both experienced skiers and snowboarders and beginners. All the slopes here are quite short, but this is compensated by significant height differences and steepness for Germany, as well as modern artificial snowmaking systems. The resort is usually visited by couples, as the quiet atmosphere here provides for a calm and relaxed holiday and the same style of skiing.

For professionals on Mount Braunek – there are trails of medium difficulty and 4 kilometers of steep “black” slopes. For beginners, more than eight kilometers of wide and flat slopes are reserved, mainly located in the lower skiing area, which is illuminated in the evenings. The resort also has specially equipped trails for cross-country skiing, about 100 kilometers long. All slopes are interconnected by eighteen lifts, which are able to serve all tourists.

The best hotel in the resort is considered to be the Arabella Brauneck Hotel. It offers a Finnish and bio sauna with colored lights, as well as a relaxation room with sun loungers. The beautiful rooms have a balcony with a beautiful view of the mountains.
