But of course, what plays a big role when choosing a resort is its natural features and ecological condition.

Can we say right away that nature in Elenite is in perfect order. First of all, these are the Balkan Mountains, which in this place reach the sea coast and cover the resort, as if pressing it to the sea. The mountains here practically end and the neighboring Sunny Beach, which can be said to be within reach, since it is located at a visual distance, is located on a plain. Therefore, the combination of the sea and the mountains gives Elenite an advantage over its neighbors. We are certainly not experts, but according to our observations, and in principle and the reviews of many tourists, the water here is one of the cleanest among the Bulgarian resorts. We personally have not encountered algae being thrown onto the shore, as is the case at many Black Sea resorts, but we will not say for sure, perhaps this also happens in Elenite.

We want to warn lovers of parties and nightlife that this resort may not be quite right for you, since everything here is quite calm and measured. There are, of course, discos and evening programs in hotels, but this is not the same as in Sunny Beach, which is considered a more youth resort. Therefore, you are better off going there. But for those who are interested in family vacations, especially with young children, Elenite will suit you in full, since all the conditions are created here. But when buying tickets to a particular hotel, do not be lazy to ask on the Internet and from the tour operator what the hotel you liked offers. It is not bad to read the reviews of tourists who have already rested there, since everything will be written quite colorfully and perfectly on the hotel website. The more information, the better.

Another advantage of this resort is its proximity to the beautiful historical city of Nessebar, where you can take a tour and wander through its old streets. For this, it is not necessary to buy a tour, you can go on your own, since things are going well with transport, and Nessebar itself is also within sight of Elenite. And if you want, you can go further. What about Burgas or Varna? Burgas is closer, but Varna will probably be more interesting with entertainment. And shopping may be more successful. We will not describe what you can visit in these cities, since you can read about it yourself in the stories about these resorts.

It’s hard to talk about prices, since it all depends on your accommodation, and as for street prices, in our opinion, they will be lower than in the same Nessebar or Sunny Beach. But if you decide to come on your own, you can always choose the best option for yourself for accommodation and food, since there are both expensive and quite affordable restaurants and cafes. The same can be said about the choice of housing, which is quite large, from a luxurious villa to an apartment in a new house, practically on the seashore. When is the best time to go on vacation in Elenite?

The first tourists start the summer season in Elenite at the end of May, but it is difficult to consider this period suitable for a full-fledged beach holiday. Of course, the sun warms up quite well during the day and you can even sunbathe if the sky is not covered with clouds, which are often the case in May. But the sea temperature is still too low to swim and enjoy this activity, and big waves are not uncommon at this time. This fact should be taken into account especially if you are going to come with children. You can use the hotel pool, and then only if the water in it is heated.

And if we talk about the May holidays, which our compatriots love to spend so much at sea resorts, then I think Bulgaria is not worth considering, since it will be too cool for a vacation, and the weather can ruin all your plans. Therefore, it is better to choose Turkey or Egypt for such a case, where in May you can not only sunbathe, but also swim.

The best option for Elenite will be the period from mid-June to mid-September. It turns out a fairly short season. And if you have school-age children, it is best to focus on the period from the second half of July to the end of August, since at this time the sea temperature is most favorable, reaching plus twenty-six degrees and from which children do not like to get out. Don’t worry that it will be very hot during the day, as Elenite is located in a place where the mountains create a wonderful microclimate, and there will be no extreme heat.

For a more relaxing vacation or with small children, it is better to relax in early September, when there are not so many tourists, and there are also much fewer children who create noise and bustle, since school has started. The water in the sea is beautiful, it is not too hot during the day and the evenings are still quite warm. You can walk until late in the evening, enjoying nature and breathing in the clean sea air. This is the most romantic time to relax.

To buy a tour cheaper, some choose the beginning or end of the season. Each option has its pros and cons. At the beginning of the season, the sea is still quite cool, and the weather will not fully recover. At the end of the season, the sea is usually much warmer and quite suitable for swimming, but the weather can still make adjustments to your plans. Therefore, when saving, you can only count on luck and good fortune. So see for yourself, if the difference is not so great as to risk your vacation, then it is better to go in the summer months.

Some even come in the winter months to spend time and enjoy the fresh air and nature. Elenite itself is a small village, so there is no question of choosing an area. The only difference may be the location of the hotel or place of residence during your vacation, in relation to the coastline.

The choice for this at this resort is quite decent, both hotels of different categories and villas.

Let’s start with hotels. From the top five, two royal hotels can be noted: Royal Castle and Royal Bay.

The first Royal Castle looks really chic. And not only outside, but also inside. In principle, anyone who has encountered the Royal group hotels probably has an idea of what they are.

These are rooms and apartments for the most refined taste.

And if we talk about this hotel, then in Elenite it will probably be the best. Moreover, it is ideal for holidays with children. There are rooms for families with one, two or more children, varying in size and category, from regular double rooms to luxury and VIP rooms, measuring up to one hundred and forty square meters. The comfort of the rooms is not up for discussion, as you know, it’s not just a couple of beds with bedside tables. For meals, in addition to the hotel restaurant, there is a lobby bar and a pool bar. The hotel has tennis courts, a billiard room, fitness and spa centers. There is animation for both adults and children, and there is also a swimming pool especially for children, with its own small water park, playground and kids’ club.

In a word, there is everything for a full-fledged family vacation. The hotel has its own beach, with free sun loungers and umbrellas. True, you will have to walk two hundred meters to it, since the hotel is not built on the very shore of the sea. But such a short walk will not be difficult at all.

The next hotel, Royal Bay, certainly does not look so chic, but this does not diminish its advantages.

For a holiday with children, it can be even more convenient than the previous hotel, since it is located right on the seashore. But not only for this reason. In addition to what the Castle offers for children’s recreation, there are also children’s discos and babysitting services, which is also important, since parents sometimes want to relax without constantly monitoring their children. Another advantage of this hotel is its own water sports, as well as a Turkish bath and even a hairdresser. Otherwise, there is everything that is in the Royal Castle.

Another quite popular hotel in Elenite is Hotel Royal Park 4 *. It is also of decent size and is located on the first coastline. We will not list everything that this hotel has, since it has everything the same as in the previous two hotels, and therefore it is ideal for holidays with children. Sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach are also free.

But not only hotels can be chosen as a place to stay during your vacation. There are beautiful complexes consisting of two and three-story villas located right on the coast. One of such complexes is Hotel Villas Elenite 3 *. This complex has five hundred and thirty rooms for accommodation of various categories. It has its own equipped beach, with a gentle entrance to the sea. The services provided are the same as in previous hotels, that is, they are completely suitable for holidays with children. Just like in hotels, there is animation, discos, children’s clubs and playgrounds. Babysitting services are also provided.

And despite the fact that the presented options look quite chic and numerous, the prices for accommodation in them are quite affordable. There are also cheaper hotels and apartments. Rest with children in Elenite: is it worth going?

The small resort of Elenite is adjacent to the popular Sunny Beach and the slightly remote, interesting in terms of excursion vacation Nessebar. Due to its successful geographical location, Elenite has become famous as a good place for family vacations. And this is quite justified, because in addition to the magnificent nature surrounding Elenite, there is a fairly well-developed tourist infrastructure. The village is the only resort complex consisting of star hotels and beautiful villas. Elenite has everything you need for a comfortable and interesting holiday with children.

Climate and nature of Elenite

In the summer, the village enjoys sunny and calm weather. There are practically no strong winds typical of this part of Bulgaria. And all thanks to the Stara Planina mountain, which protects the resort from bad weather. In summer, the air temperature ranges from 23-29⁰C, and the water warms up to 25 degrees. All this together creates ideal conditions for the recreation of young tourists, who can play on the sandy beaches of the resort all day long. Moreover, the Black Sea coast in Elenite is distinguished by a sandy bottom that slowly deepens, which is ideal for the youngest bathers.

Clean air filled with coniferous aroma also has a beneficial effect on the child’s body.
