The Feldberg ski area, located on the slopes of the mountain of the same name (1,493 m), which is the highest peak in the Black Forest, is rightly called the cradle of skiing in Germany.


On the slopes of the Feldberg mountain, there are 7 small ski centers that offer excellent conditions for skiing and snowboarding.

The resort is located in the southwestern part of Germany, in the state of Baden-Württemberg, in the district of Freiburg, in the district of Breisgau – Upper Black Forest, in the commune of Feldberg.
How to get to Feldberg
The nearest airports are Karlsruhe / Baden-Baden (156 km) and Stuttgart Airport (170 km).
You can get to the resort in the following ways:
by plane to Baden-Baden or Stuttgart, with a change to a train going to Freiburg (journey time about 50 minutes). From Freiburg there are trains to the railway station “Feldberg-Bärental”. From the station there are buses No. 9300 and 9007, which can take you to the resort for free if you have a guest card “KONUS Gästekarte”.
Ski slopes and lifts
The winter season in Feldberg lasts more than 110 days a year, and in case of a little snow in the winter, snow cannons are prepared.
The ski area consists of 7 ski areas: Feldberg, Altglashütten, Bälchen, Menzenschwand, Muggenbrunn, Todtnauberg and Notschrei.
The skiing regions have 61 km of trails of varying difficulty and 35 lifts.

There are gentle and wide slopes for children and beginners, and more difficult descents for experienced skiers. There are also slalom runs, freeride slopes and illuminated runs for night skiing.
For fans of snowboarding and freestyle, there is a snowboard park with various obstacles in the form of springboards, rails, boxes, pipes, jibs, jumps and kickers.
Excellent conditions are also created here for cross-country skiers, for whom 120 km of ski trails have been laid out here through the picturesque terrain.









The resort is more suitable for families with children. Professionals will be bored here, as most of the ski slopes are not steep and do not have a variety of routes.

All ski centers of the resort have ski schools and ski equipment rental points. The ski schools offer individual and group lessons for adults and children.
Under the guidance of qualified coaches, anyone can not only master the skills of skiing and snowboarding, but also improve their technique.






The resort has children’s ski kindergartens, where children are taught to ski safely in a playful way. Each school has a rental point where you can rent ski equipment and gear.
