Aramón-Zerler , or as the locals call this resort, Zerler, is located in the central Pyrenees, which are surrounded by the highest peaks in Spain. Today, this populated area is considered one of the highest and most multifunctional resorts in the Pyrenees. Its location exceeds 1,500 meters above sea level. At the same time, from the Gallinero peak, this height reaches 2,650 meters.

Today, Aramon-Zerler is one of thirteen ski resorts in Spain that have received the prestigious “Q” Award for high quality tourism. In addition to the infrastructure that is developing more and more rapidly every year, the resort boasts a picturesque mountainous terrain. It is here that tourists from all over the world come to conquer a large number of slopes, many of which pass through pine forests.

Initially, Aramon-Zerler was built as a village with a large number of tourist attractions: bars, restaurants, ski resorts and hotels.

However, today, this settlement has become a permanent residence for several thousand Spaniards. And now a kindergarten, a small school, a hospital have already been built on the territory of Aramon-Zerler, and the foundation for a church is being laid. There are five comfortable hotels on the territory of the resort. All of them have 4 or 5 *. That is why the prices in the hotels of Aramon-Zerler cannot be called democratic – a day in a standard room costs 80-120 euros.

However, the quality of service, interior, and most importantly, the view from the windows of these hotels, fully justify this cost.

But for a budget tourist, you can also find a good option, but outside the resort village. Behind Aramon-Zerler there are a couple of hotels with 3 *.

They also attract with acceptable service, a charming view from the windows, and most importantly – low prices. So, the cost of a single room in a country apartment will cost a traveler 40-50 euros.

SOMMOS Hotel Aneto 4-star hotel

This stylish hotel is located in the Benasque Valley in the Iberian Peninsula, just 6 km from the Zerler Ski Resort. It offers an indoor pool and stylish rooms with free Wi-Fi and plasma satellite TV.

Paralelo

Paralelo – a small bar-restaurant located on one of the streets of Aramon-Zerler is the only establishment in the entire resort where sports matches are broadcast. Due to this feature of the menu in the establishment, there are many snacks, beer and alcoholic cocktails.

Paralelo does not have ice cream, cakes and other desserts, which is why there are no visitors with children in the bar.

Braseria El Rincon Cerler

The Braseria El Rincon Cerler is located on one of the squares of Aramon-Cerler. It is always bustling, crowded and fun. Thanks to this atmosphere, you simply do not want to leave this institution.

The dishes at Braseria El Rincon Cerler are delicious, and the portions are hearty and quite large. The main highlight of the menu is grilled dishes – vegetables, meat and fruits.

La Borda del Mastin

La Borda del Mastin is a restaurant with an extremely unusual interior, a large selection of delicious dishes and pleasant staff. This establishment opens its doors during the day from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. and in the evening from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m.

Visitors to La Borda del Mastin are mainly foreigners, this feature is due to the fact that the menu includes both Spanish dishes and international cuisine.

Picada

Picada is a small cafe with a simple design and a rather cozy atmosphere. Today, this establishment is considered one of the most beloved among tourists and locals. The Picada menu features exclusively Spanish-loved dishes, and in the bar menu visitors will find only wines produced in Spain.

What is interesting to see in Aramon-Zerler?

Aramon-Zerler cannot boast of a large number of attractions, however, in and near this resort there are still several interesting places that attract tourists and locals. Of course, the main attraction of this resort is the ski complex of the same name.

Aramon-Zerler organizes excursions in only two directions – to the Natural Park Natural Posets-Maladeta and to the nearby towns, which are also ski resorts. Today, one of the most popular excursion routes is the direction from Zerler to Astun, Formigal and Candanchu.

All three settlements, visits to which are included in one introductory program, also boast a multitude of ski slopes. However, in each of these cities, about a dozen of the most diverse religious and cultural buildings have been built, which, under the guidance of a guide, everyone can get acquainted with.

Not much is known about the history of Aramon-Zerler. The foundation of this territory began not so long ago, literally a few dozen years ago.
