Sleme Ski Resort

The Sleme ski resort is located in Zagreb County (Continental Croatia). There are 4 km of slopes for skiing and snowboarding. There are also 3 lifts that transport guests. The winter sports area is located between 730 and 1030 m above sea level. Sleme is a popular ski resort on the slopes of the Medvednica hill (1035 m), 15 km from Zagreb. The resort has 5 km of medium-level slopes, on 5 slopes, served by 4 lifts. Floodlights installed at the ski resort allow skiing even at night. The ski slopes and cable cars are located on the upper ridge and northern slopes of Medvednica. The slopes start at the very top and their total length is about 4,000 meters. Three ski lifts with a total capacity of about 3,300 skiers per hour. Most slopes are equipped with an artificial snowmaking system. The lighting system of the ski resort also allows skiing at night. Night skiing is scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. In addition to skiing conditions, the Sljeme ski resort has been providing conditions for skiing competitions of all levels for decades, including the most famous and prestigious FIS World Cup race in cross-country skiing.
The slopes of the resort cannot be called very high, so it is especially popular among beginner skiers. People also often come here with children. A hotel has been built right next to the resort, where tourists can find everything they need for a pleasant stay.

Belolasic Olympic Ski Resort – the Olympic center of Croatia is located in the mountains of Gorski Kotar – 1,534 m above sea level – on the southeastern slope of Belolasic Mountain.

Belolasic is the largest winter sports complex in Croatia.

How to get to the Belolasica ski resort:
The Belolasica ski resort is located in the Karlovac region, 27 km west of the city of Ogulin. You can get to the Belolasica resort along the A1 highway connecting Zagreb and Split.
The resort has two slopes for children: you can bring little travelers here. Night skiing is also popular here, and all the necessary equipment can be rented. For beginner skiers, there is a ski school where you can take lessons under the guidance of a professional.
Platak ski resort – Gorski Kotar

The distance from the Platak ski resort to the city of Zagreb is 154 km.
The ski resort of Croatia Platak in the Gorski Kotar mountain range is 1111 m above sea level.
The total length of the slopes of the Platak ski resort is 9 km.

Platak has 5 lifts (capacity 2000 people per hour) and a chairlift (900 people per hour), as well as a children’s lift.
Platak ski resort has equipment for making artificial snow in winters with little snow.

For vacationers, the resort offers: skiing and snowboarding lessons, sledge, ski and snowboard rental, snowmobile rental, day and night skiing in the forest, equipped cross-country ski trails 10 km long.
Platak combines the capabilities of a ski resort in winter and a recreation park in summer. Located almost next to the city of Rijeka, it is probably the only one from where you can see the sea. Despite the fact that the resort was created in the middle of the 20th century, there was a time when it was simply not operated. Now everything is different: equipment for the production of artificial snow has been purchased, the lift has been modernized, and the resort buildings have been renovated. New features include a night skiing track, which was not there before. There are not many tracks yet, and you have to walk a lot because the resort continues to be developed. But they can offer sledding tracks here, and you can stay at the resort itself, where there are two mountain houses.
Ski resort Begovo Rozdolje – Gorski Kotar

The distance from the ski resort Begovo Rozdolje in the Gorski Kotar mountain range to the city of Zagreb is 130 km.
The ski resort is located at an altitude of 1078 meters above sea level. A ski lift with a height of 400 m takes skiers to Klobuchar Peak with a height of 1215 m, as well as a children’s lift.

Ski Resort Čelimbaša – Gorski Kotar

There is also 1 ski lift that transports guests. The winter sports area is located between 840 and 1075 m above sea level. Ski Resort Čelimbaša is located in the very center of Mrkopalje. This is a fairly old but well-maintained ski resort, which has the greatest potential in Gorski Kotar.
The distance from the Čelimbaša ski resort in the Gorski Kotar mountain range to the international city of Zagreb is 125 km.
The Čelimbaša ski resort is located at an altitude of 1074 m. The Čelimbaša ski lift is 720 m long. There are equipped trails for hiking and cross-country skiing.

Not far from the ski resort is the Zagmajna biathlon center with 4 km of trails equipped according to IBU standards.
The whole atmosphere in Çelimbaş has a special charm, especially in winter, when everything is covered in snow. The ski resort has three slopes – Tourist Trail (1350 m), Sun Trail (1000 m) and Vlaica Trail (500 m), so both professionals and beginners can find something for themselves. The ski resort also offers children to enjoy snow adventures, so there is a children’s lift prepared for them.

After a whole day of skiing, you can relax in the excellent restaurant, which serves hot and cold drinks and super dishes. And for those who want to spend their vacation here, we recommend staying at the Skiashki Budynok hostel. The hostel has a restaurant, a small room for seminars, and the Franjo Starčević library. Tršče Ski Resort – Horský Kotar

The Tršče ski resort has two equipped alpine slopes with a length of 800 to 1200 m, as well as slopes for Norwegian skiing from 3 to 5 km.

Next to the ski resorts is the Brvnara restaurant with a capacity of 90 seats.
Ski resort Mukinje in the Plitvice Lakes Park

In winter, the Plitvice Lakes National Park invites you to ski and sled.
The distance from the Mukinje ski resort to the city of Karlovac is 80 km, to the city of Zagreb – 139 km.
The length of the ski slopes of the Mukinje ski resort is about 400 meters, the height is 640-700 meters. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, there are places for sledding. The Mukinje ski resort has one lift with a lifting capacity of about 400 skiers per hour.
The ski resort is located in the village of Mukinje, which is about 2.5 km from Entrance No. 2 and 5 km from Entrance No. 1 to the Plitvice Lakes National Park.
