The winter resort of Veysonnaz is located at an altitude of 1350 m above sea level. It is one of the 4 parts of the Four Valleys ski area, which includes Verbier, Nenda, Veysonnaz and Thionn. The maximum height for skiing is 3330 m. At your service are 412 km of well-groomed slopes, impressive spaces with natural jumps, professionally equipped snow parks, fun parks, cross-country ski trails and an endless Riviera for difficult off-piste descents.

Skiing area

Most of the slopes are of increased difficulty. The ski resort of Veysonnaz is home to the Piste de I’Ours (The Bear), a World Cup piste with artificial snow making facilities suitable for both beginners and professionals, which starts at the top of Mont Rouge and ends in the forest just above Veysonnaz. Veysonnaz hosts a straight-line speed record run on Mont Fort, and in March hosts the annual Red Bull freeride competition on Plan du Fou. Veysonnaz offers 25 ski runs, 200 km of signposted hiking trails through the forest, and convenient lifts that take tourists to the top of the slopes. Skiing is available until the end of April.
