Ski resort 3-5 Pigadia

The ski resort 3-5 Pigadia – Naoussa is located in Central Macedonia (Greece) on the eastern slope of Mount Vermion, at an altitude of 1430-2005 meters, 17 km from the town of Náousa. There are 9 km of slopes for skiing and snowboarding. There are also 6 lifts for transporting guests. The winter sports area is located between the altitudes of 1430 and 2005 meters.

Despite the fact that the ski season lasts only when there is snow, the hotel is open all year round. The Falakro ski resort was founded in 1980 on the initiative of the Dramatic Mountaineering Association in order to meet the basic recreational and sporting needs of the surrounding area. The resort has 21 slopes of varying difficulty, with a total length of 20 km and lengths ranging from 230 to 1500 meters. Natural snow lies on the northern, northwestern and northeastern slopes, which are above 2000 m above sea level and offer a wonderful variety of skiing.

An important comparative advantage of Falakro is the long period of snow cover due to its geographical location and high altitude, as the base of the ski resort is located at an altitude of 1720 m, and the slopes are at an altitude of 2232 m.

Kaimaktsalan Ski Resort

The Kaimaktsalan Ski Center (Voras) is one of the largest in Greece. Its slopes are popular among skiers due to their width and gentle slopes. Seli Ski Resort

Seli Ski Resort is the first ski center in the country (operating since 1934), located in the Macedonia region on Mount Verma (south-western side) at an altitude of 1500-1900 m above sea level, 95 km from Thessaloniki and 24 km from the city of Veria. It was here that the first Greek ski competitions were held. Mount Veria and its surroundings are known for their traditional mountain villages, fantastic cuisine and wine, and wonderful nature. The winter resort of Seli can be reached by car along a good asphalt road with fences (open daily from 09:00 to 16:30). Today, 19 slopes are open here, of which 4 are for beginners. The skiing season lasts on average from the end of December to the end of March.

Vigla Ski Resort

The Vigla Pisoderi / Verno – Florina ski resort is located in Western Macedonia (Greece). There are 11.1 km of slopes for skiing and snowboarding. There are also 5 lifts to transport guests. The winter sports area is located between altitudes of 1650 and 2000 meters.

Vigla Pissoderi Ski Resort is one of the oldest in Greece, as its first ski lift was established in 1967. It is also one of the most modern and largest ski resorts with many slopes and lifts in Greece. The brand new 2 km long aerial lift, which starts in the village of Pissoderi and ends at the top of the ski resort, is the longest in the Balkans. This is a unique fact for Greece – the existing connecting lift between the village and the ski resort.

The ski resort’s parking lot is quite large and has recently been expanded and paved with asphalt. The main slope is floodlit and open for night skiing from 21:00 to 01:00, every weekend and public holidays.
