Vasilytsia Ski Resort is located in Western Macedonia (Greece). There are 22 km of slopes for skiing and snowboarding. There are also 8 lifts to transport guests. The winter sports area is located between altitudes of 1646 and 2115 meters.

Vasilytsia Ski Resort, Vasilytsia – perhaps the most beautiful ski resort in Greece, is a small ski resort with 8 lifts (2 chairlifts and 6 surface). The resort also boasts a respectable 530 meters of vertical descent. According to the latest data, the resort has 17 slopes. It is located in a wonderful location in the northwestern part of the prefecture of Grevena, in the heart of the immortal Pindos.

All lifts serve slopes of varying difficulty with a total length of 22 km, which are not subject to any external intervention, preserve their natural beauty and are the main asset of Vasilitsa. Also here, two slopes of the resort were marked with FIS Olympic specifications.

New ambitious efforts were made this year at the Vasilitsa ski resort. The resort decided to invest in a bike park, which will operate during the summer season.

A significant advantage of Vasilitsa is that all the slopes run in picturesque places, in the bosom of nature, having preserved its pristine appearance. The beauty of the local nature is indescribable – the path to a height of 2246m runs through tall dark green pine trees – the spectacle is truly impressive.

For fans of night skiing, a specially created track with lighting has been created.

How to get there

You can get to the Vasilytsia ski resort from Thessaloniki International Airport in 3 hours 20 minutes, the distance is 248 km. The most convenient way is to rent a car.

Slopes and lifts

The best resort time is considered to be the period from early winter to April, when the mountain slopes and downhill runs are covered with fluffy snow.

We would also like to note that in addition to two sports schools for adults, Vasilitsa also has a special ski school for beginners and children, where the best masters of their craft work. Classes are held in Greek and English. Plus, the resort has several special safe slopes for comfortable learning.

The total length of the slopes in the resort exceeds 22 km, among which, in addition to several slopes for beginners, there are also special extreme slopes for real pros. In addition, several lifts operate on the territory of Vasilitsa, a mountain equipment rental and special equipment sales shop, as well as a comfortable hotel for resort visitors.

The next “highlight” of Vasilitsa is the so-called night slope, that is, a specially equipped slope for skiing at night. And this means that you can practice your favorite sport day and night!

In addition, exciting competitions among snowboarders are regularly held here – a truly worthy spectacle. The best athletes in Greece gather here to prove their superiority.
