The small town of Ustrzyki Dolne is considered the real capital of Bieszczady, the easternmost group of the Polish Carpathians.
The Ustzhiky Dolny ski resort is located on the route of the so-called small and large bypass tracks in Bieszczady and is an excellent base for traveling in Bieszczady Vysokye. Ustzhiky Dolny, the town of the same name as the resort, is the capital of Bieszczady and has about 10,000 inhabitants. This town is located in the valley of the Stvenzh River, the only one in Poland that flows into the Black Sea.
