The small town of Ustrzyki Dolne is considered the real capital of Bieszczady, the easternmost group of the Polish Carpathians.

The Ustzhiky Dolny ski resort is located on the route of the so-called small and large bypass tracks in Bieszczady and is an excellent base for traveling in Bieszczady Vysokye. Ustzhiky Dolny, the town of the same name as the resort, is the capital of Bieszczady and has about 10,000 inhabitants. This town is located in the valley of the Stvenzh River, the only one in Poland that flows into the Black Sea.

The climate here is frosty and snowy, so the area is best suited for fans of active winter recreation, and the location of the town allows you to indulge in your favorite pastimes almost until spring itself.

 

On the northern side, Ustzhiky is bordered by the slopes of Kamenna Lavorta Mountain, and on the southern side by the slopes of Gromadzyn. A total of approximately 600 km of tourist and cycling routes have been laid out in the vicinity.

How to get there

The distance from Warsaw to the resort is about 330 km, but it is most convenient to get here through Ukrainian Lviv (130 km) by own transport or by bus.
