In addition to the Green route, there are also White, the longest and Blue routes.
The tracks on Sleme have a total length of about 4 km. Not so long ago, the Red track designed for international competitions was equipped, as the “Snow Queen Trophy” is held annually in Slam.
Given the close location of Zagreb with a population of about a million inhabitants, together with the suburbs, the tracks are crowded in good weather. This forces the organizers to think about increasing the carrying capacity of Sleme, about the construction of new routes. The topography of the Medvednytsia Park allows this to be done.
There are several mountain houses and a hotel in the resort, in Medvednytsia Park. One restaurant was recently renovated and expanded, others are also at the stage of modernization.
Today, thanks to Sleme, Zagreb is perhaps the only capital in the world, on the territory of which there is a world-class ski resort. The presence of cannons for creating artificial snow allows the resort to be independent of the weather. The tracks also do not depend on the time of day, as they are also equipped with lighting for night skiing.
