History
Back in the 17th century, the small town of Krynytsia-Zdroj (south-eastern part of the Sudeten Beskids) was talked about in connection with the discovery of healing springs. After some time, the first pumping station was built here, and then the baths.
At the beginning of the 20th century, the Polish geologist Rudolph Zuber found springs with healing water in the valleys of the Krynychanka and Polenytsia rivers. Now the resort is known not only in Poland, but also abroad. Since then, one of the sources bears the name of its discoverer – “Zuber Water”.
