The Flin ski resort in France began to receive guests not so long ago – from the end of the 60s of the last century. This place cannot be called an ordinary alpine town – Flen is built up with modern buildings. The famous architect Marcel Breuer, the author of the project of the UNESCO building in Paris, the Whitney Museum in New York and many other famous buildings, worked on its appearance. and on one of the streets you can find a sculptural composition by Pablo Picasso. Modern architecture here is harmoniously combined with the shining peaks of the Alps and developed tourist infrastructure. The city is located in one of the snowiest ski regions of the Grand Massif. Thanks to the mild climate and a large amount of snowfall, the skiing season here opens a little earlier than in the neighboring valleys, and usually closes later.
Flen is the largest resort in the Grand Massif region. Together with Morillon, Samoyen, Le Carro and Sixt-Fer-a-Cheval, it is ready to offer its guests 265 kilometers of the highest quality pistes. Flen is located between the main peak of Europe, Mont Blanc, and Lake Geneva, which creates excellent conditions for abundant and frequent snowfalls.
The small village, the number of permanent residents of which is only 150 people, is located on three levels – Flin Foret (1,700 m), Flin Forum (1,600 m), Flin Front de Negue (1,500 m), interconnected by two lifts and two escalators.
The resort is ideal for families with children. There are services of a kindergarten, a children’s play club and a ski school. Every evening, fun relay races, discos and games are arranged for young guests near the tourist office.
