Braunek is surrounded by the highest Langgris mountain, +1555 meters high. The resort has many tracks that are suitable for both experienced skiers and snowboarders and beginners. All the slopes here are quite short in length, but this is compensated by the height differences and steepness, which are significant for Germany, as well as modern artificial snowmaking systems. Family couples usually come to the resort, as the quiet atmosphere here provides for a calm and relaxed vacation and the same style of skiing.
For professionals, Braunek Mountain has tracks of medium difficulty and 4 kilometers of steep “black” descents. Beginners have more than eight kilometers of wide and flat slopes, mostly located in the lower skiing area, which is lit up in the evenings. The resort also has specially equipped tracks for cross-country skiing, with a length of about 100 kilometers. All slopes are interconnected by eighteen lifts, which are able to serve all tourists.
