Ski resort 3-5 Pigadia – Naoussa is located in Central Macedonia (Greece). There are 9 km of slopes for skiing and snowboarding. There are also 6 lifts for transporting guests. The winter sports area is located between the altitudes of 1430 and 2005 meters.
The charming resort with an interesting name is located on Mount Verma, the height of which is almost 2.1 km. Why “3-5” and not “6-7” for example? The fact is that there are three springs at the beginning of the ski resort, and five more a little higher! Hence the “3-5 sources”.
Pigadia ski resort is connected to the city by an asphalt road. It is one of the most modern ski resorts in Greece with perfect slopes for skiing. It has ski tracks of any degree of difficulty and tracks for cross-country skiing. Guests have at their disposal a double lift with chairs, 5 lifts and a children’s lift. “Pigadia” is the only ski resort in Greece that has a system of artificial snow. The hotel located in the resort has 34 rooms and can accommodate up to 100 people. Also available are a restaurant, a lift bar, a snow bar and a beautiful chalet on top of the mountain (2005 m). Since the beginning of the 80s, “Pigadiya” has been established as a training center for sports teams, mainly due to its beautiful climate and exceptional natural environment. The resort is expensive. There is even a helipad for “vips”. Hotels, private houses, cafes, restaurants, cafeterias, a medical center – everything is at your service. True, the descents are somewhat distant from the hotels: you will have to walk or drive 2-3 km.
Tracks and lifts
The ski resort offers night skiing.
The ski resort is located in the western part of Mount Vermion, at an altitude of 1430 – 2005 m above sea level, 110 km from the city of Thessaloniki and 17 km from the city of Naoussa.
There are only 7 tracks: 1 green, 1 blue, 2 red, 1 black and 2 yellow. 2 tracks are intended for international level competitions. The length of the tracks is from 200 m to 10 km. 1 cable-chair lift and 6 rope-towing lifts.
Among the services provided are skiing lessons, rental and sale points of the necessary equipment and inventory, artificial snow supply system, restaurants, cafes, bars, parking lots for cars, trailers, skiffs, a football field, a helipad, a hotel near the center. The ski center can be reached by car on a well-paved road.
