Sleme ski resort
Sleme ski resort is located in Zagreb County (Mainland Croatia). There are 4 km of slopes for skiing and snowboarding. There are also 3 lifts that transport guests. The winter sports area is located between 730 and 1030 m above sea level. Sleme is a popular ski resort on the slopes of the Medvednica hill (1035 m), 15 km from Zagreb. The resort has 5 km of medium-level pistes, on 5 pistes served by 4 lifts. Floodlights installed at the ski resort allow skiing even at night. Ski tracks and cable cars are located on the upper ridge and northern slopes of Medvednytsa. The tracks start at the very top and their total length is about 4000 meters. Three ski lifts with a total capacity of about 3,300 skiers per hour. Most of the slopes are equipped with a system of artificial snow. The lighting system of the ski resort also allows skiing at night. Night skiing is scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 19:00 to 22:00. In addition to the conditions for skiing, the Sljeme ski resort has been providing facilities for ski competitions of all levels for decades, including the most famous and prestigious FIS Ski World Cup race.
The slopes of the resort cannot be called very high, so it is especially popular among beginner skiers. They also often come here with children. A hotel was built right next to the resort, where tourists can find everything they need for a pleasant vacation.

Horsky Kotar
Gorski Kotar is a mountainous region in the north of Croatia that unites the continental and coastal parts of Croatia.
Almost the entire territory of Horsky Kotar is covered by low, forest-covered mountains. The highest mountain peaks of Horsky Kotar are Belolasytsia – 1,534 m and Velyki Risniak – 1,528 m.

In the 1980s, the Winter Olympics were held in the former Yugoslavia (Sarajevo). At this time, winter skiing sports are actively developing in Yugoslavia, the Belolasitsa Olympic ski training base is being rebuilt.
Olympic ski resort Belolasica – the Olympic center of Croatia is located in the mountains of Gorski Kotar – 1,534 m above sea level – on the southeastern slope of Mount Belolasica.
Belolasitsa is the largest winter sports complex in Croatia.
The distance from the Belolasitsa ski resort to the city of Zagreb is 137 km.
The height difference of the Belolasytsia ski resort is 800 m, the total length of the tracks and slopes is from 6 km or more, depending on the amount of snow in winter.
The Bjelolasica resort has a system of 3 two-chair lifts and 3 ski lifts that connect all the slopes.
Belolasytsia resort is equipped with snow cannons, which extends the skiing season. Night skiing is organized for vacationers, ski equipment rental is offered. There is a ski school under the guidance of a qualified instructor.
If necessary, you can reach the cities of Ogulin and Rijeka from the resort, there are two villages in the vicinity.
The resort center has a restaurant and a cafe located in the administrative building. There are several chalet-style hotels nearby, so you can perfectly stay close to the slopes. But if you wish, you can also be accommodated in the private sector.
The hotel Jastreb 3 * (Jastreb 3 *), which is closest to the Belolasytsia ski resort, is located just 50 meters from the ski slopes.

How to get to the Belolasytsia ski resort:
Belolasytsia ski resort is located in the region of the city of Karlovac, 27 km west of the city of Ogulin. You can get to the Belolasitsa resort on the A1 road connecting Zagreb and Split.
The resort has two descents for children: you can bring small travelers here. Night skiing is also popular here, and all the necessary equipment can be rented. For beginner skiers, there is a ski school where you can train under the guidance of a professional.
Platak ski resort – Horsky Kotar
The distance from the Platak ski resort to the city of Zagreb is 154 km.

For vacationers, the resort offers: downhill skiing and snowboarding lessons, sled, ski and snowboard rental, snowmobile rental, organization of day and night skiing in the forest, equipped tracks for cross-country skiing 10 km long.
Platak combines the possibilities of a ski resort in winter and a park for recreation in summer. Located almost next to the city of Rijeka, it is probably the only place where you can see the sea. Despite the fact that the resort was created in the middle of the 20th century, there was a time when it was simply not operated. Now everything is different: equipment for the production of artificial snow has been purchased, the lift has been modernized, and the resort buildings have been restored. The novelties include a track for night skiing, which was not available before. However, there are not many tracks yet, and you have to walk a lot because the resort continues to be developed. But here they can offer sledding tracks, and you can stay at the resort itself, where there are two mountain houses.
Ski resort Begovo Rozdollia – Horsky Kotar
The distance from the ski resort Begovo Rozdollia of the Gorski Kotar mountain massif to the city of Zagreb is 130 km.
The ski resort is located at an altitude of 1078 meters above sea level. A lift for skiers with a height of 400 m and climbs to the Klobucharov peak with a height of 1215 m, as well as a lift for children.
For vacationers, the Begovo Rozdollya resort offers: downhill skiing lessons, ski equipment rental, winter sports entertainment, sledding, cross-country skiing.

Chelimbasha ski resort – Horsky Kotar
Chelimbaša ski resort is located in Primorsko-Hira County (Primorsko-Goran County) (Adriatic Croatia (Jadranska Hrvatska)). There are 2.8 km of tracks for skiing and snowboarding. 1 lift is also available to transport guests. The winter sports area is located between 840 and 1075 m above sea level. Chelimbasha ski resort is located in the very center of Mrkopal. This is a rather old but well-maintained ski resort that has the greatest potential in Girsky Kotar.
The distance from the Chelimbash ski resort of the Gorski Kotar mountain massif to the international city of Zagreb is 125 km.
The Chelimbasha ski resort is located at an altitude of 1074 m. The lift of the Chelimbasha resort is 720 m long. There are equipped paths for hiking and cross-country skiing.
Not far from the ski resort is the Zagmajna biathlon center with 4 km long tracks equipped according to the IBU standard.
The whole atmosphere in Chelimbash has a special charm, especially in winter when everything is covered with snow. The ski resort has three slopes – the Tourist Trail (1350 m), the Sun Trail (1000 m) and the Vlaich Trail (500 m), so both professionals and beginners can find something for themselves. The ski resort also offers children to enjoy snow adventures, so a children’s lift has been prepared for them.
After a whole day of skiing, you can relax in an excellent restaurant, which serves hot and cold drinks and super dishes. And for those who want to spend their vacation here, we recommend staying at the “Skiashki House” hostel. The hostel has a restaurant, a small seminar room, as well as Franjo Starčević’s library. And behind the hotel there is a large place for sledding, which will surely please all children!
Ski resort Tršče – Horsky Kotar
The distance from the Tršče ski resort of the Gorski Kotar mountain massif to the city of Zagreb is 164 km.
The Tršče ski resort has two equipped slopes for alpine skiing from 800 to 1200 m in length, as well as tracks for Norwegian skiing from 3 to 5 km.
For children, the Tršče resort has a children’s lift and a ski club and riding school for beginners.
Next to the ski resorts is the Brvnara restaurant with a capacity of 90 seats.
Plitvice Lakes Park Mukinje Ski Resort
In winter, Plitvice Lakes National Park invites you to go skiing and sledding.
The distance from the Mukinje ski resort to the city of Karlovac is 80 km, to the city of Zagreb – 139 km.
The length of the ski tracks of the Mukinye ski resort is about 400 meters, the height is 640-700 meters. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, there are places for sledding. The Mukinje ski resort has one lift with a capacity of about 400 skiers per hour.
The ski resort is located in the village of Mukinje, which is approximately 2.5 km from Entrance No. 2 and 5 km from Entrance No. 1 to the Plitvice Lakes National Park.
