Ski resort 3-5 Pigadia – Naoussa is located in Central Macedonia (Greece) on the eastern slope of Mount Vermion, at an altitude of 1430-2005 meters, 17 km from the town of Náousa. There are 9 km of slopes for skiing and snowboarding. There are also 6 lifts for transporting guests. The winter sports area is located between the altitudes of 1430 and 2005 meters.
Despite the fact that the ski season lasts only when there is snow, the hotel is open all year round. Pigadya ski resort is connected to the city by an asphalt road. It is one of the most modern ski resorts in Greece with perfect slopes for skiing. Guests have at their disposal a double lift with chairs, 5 lifts and a children’s lift. “Pigadia” is the only ski resort in Greece that has a system of artificial snow.
The hotel located in the resort has 34 rooms and can accommodate up to 100 people. Also available are a restaurant, a lift bar, a snow bar and a beautiful chalet on top of the mountain (2005 m). Falakro ski resort
Falakro ski resort is located in Eastern Macedonia and Thrace (Greece). There are 20 km of slopes for skiing and snowboarding. There are also 9 lifts for transporting guests. The winter sports zone is located between the altitudes of 1650 and 2232 m.
Falakro Ski Resort was founded in 1980 at the initiative of the Association of Dramatic Mountaineering to meet the basic recreational and sports needs of the surrounding area. However, over the years, the ski center has gained momentum and a fanatical audience, which has made it one of the most important ski resorts in the country and the main tourist attraction of the Thrace region.
The resort has 21 trails of varying difficulty with a total length of 20 km and a length of 230 to 1500 meters. There are also large tracks, more than 2,500 m long, with a height difference from 1,615 to 2,232 m on the northern slopes, which are also suitable for sports events. Natural snow lies on the north, north-west and north-east slopes, which are above 2000 m above sea level and offer a great variety of skiing.
An important comparative advantage of Falakro is a long period of snow cover due to its geographical location and high altitude, as the base of the ski resort is at an altitude of 1,720 m, and the slopes are at an altitude of 2,232 m.

Kaymaktsalan ski resort
The Kaimaktsalan ski center (Voras) is one of the largest in Greece. Its tracks are popular among skiers due to their width and gentle descents. The ski season here lasts from the beginning of December to the end of April. Whole families like to come here, as “Kaymaktsalan” offers recreation options for everyone, from small to large. Ski resort Seli
The Seli ski resort is the country’s first ski center (functioning since 1934), located in the region of Macedonia on Mount Verma (south-western side) at an altitude of 1500-1900 m above sea level, 95 km from Thessaloniki and 24 km from Veria It was here that the first Greek ski competitions were held. Mount Veriya and its surroundings are known for traditional mountain villages, fantastic cuisine and wine, and wonderful nature. The winter resort of Seli can be reached by car along a good paved road with fences (open daily from 09:00 to 16:30). Today, 19 tracks are open here, of which 4 are for beginners. The skiing season on average lasts from the end of December to the end of March.

For lovers of mountain skiing, the resort has well-groomed wide ski tracks of various degrees of difficulty (red, blue) with a height difference of up to 400 m, a snowboard park, and high-class cross-country ski tracks. Ski resort Vasylitsa
Ski resort Vasilitsa (Vasilitsa) got its name from “Diaselo Vasilitsas” back in 1975. The extraordinary beauty of the local mountains is manifested in the snow-covered oaks and pines, which are rarely found on the slopes and allow skiers to go around them without effort. The same conditions create a dense and thick snow cover, collecting snow between the trees. It allows you to ride from December to April. Vasylytsia has 16 ski tracks with a total length of 16 km. From the highest point of the resort – 2115 meters, you can go down the 900 m long “black” track Timfeia. There are two difficult sports tracks “Alexander the Great”, which are approved by the Greek Federation of Alpine Skiing. There are also easy tracks “Filippos – Dromos” – 1860 m, 2 “red” tracks “Emilia” and children’s training grounds 250 and 300 m long. There is a snow park near “Emilia 2”.
At the resort, you will find great opportunities for freeride and backcountry among the trees, and night skiing on a lighted track is also possible. The descents are served by one of the oldest lifts “Vaselitsa-Gomaras” with a capacity of 800 people per hour. There is also a modern lift “Christos Migdanis” with a length of 800 meters, which was built in 2006. In addition to skiing, there is an opportunity to engage in paragliding, mountaineering, and horse riding.

Ski resort Vigla
Ski resort Vigla Pisoderi / Verno – Florina is located in Western Macedonia (Greece). There are 11.1 km of slopes for skiing and snowboarding. There are also 5 lifts for transporting guests. The zone of winter sports is located between the altitudes of 1650 and 2000 meters.
Vigla Pissoderi ski center is one of the oldest in Greece, as its first lift was established in 1967. It is also one of the most modern and large ski centers with many slopes and lifts in Greece. The brand new 2 km aerial lift, starting in the village of Pissoderi and reaching the top of the ski resort, is the longest in the Balkans. This is a unique fact for Greece – the existing connecting lift between the village and the ski center.
The parking lot of the ski resort is quite large and has recently been expanded and lined with asphalt. The main slope is illuminated and open for night skiing from 21:00 to 01:00, every weekend and holiday.
