The territory at the foot of Mount Postevar is occupied by the Poiana Brasov ski resort, located 167 kilometers from Bucharest and 13 kilometers from the city of Brasov, from which the resort takes its name. The resort’s slopes begin at an altitude of 1030 meters and reach an altitude of 1775 meters. There are 11 slopes for skiing, 4 of which are blue and black, and 5 are red. A total of 9 lifts operate on them – a cabin, a towbar and 1 gondola. In addition, here you can find freeride areas, a bobsleigh track, 2 ski jumps and an Olympic ski slope. It is noteworthy that you can ski here at any time of the day, including at night. The artificial snowmaking system helps maintain the snow cover of the slopes and makes it possible to extend the skiing season. Just don’t forget about special ski masks for skiing at night with artificial lighting.

All conditions are carefully created for the best vacation. The sunny and snowy valley invites all fans of snowboarding and skiing. There are enough different places where you can have a great time. These include an artificial ice rink, a swimming pool, sports grounds and an equestrian center. In local restaurants and cafes, taste the masterpieces of national cuisine. In the forest expanses, enveloped by the purest mountain air, comfortable hotels with all the conditions for living and accommodating guests have been built. The resort can be called an ecologically clean area due to the fact that there is no motor transport here. And the possibility of movement is carried out using a horse-drawn carriage and sleigh. Many are attracted by the opportunity to take a health course at the expense of healing mineral waters. The youth audience will be pleased with the presence of bars and nightclubs with discos, where you can taste national wines.

Despite the fact that the resort is noticeably different in scale from the famous European ones, it conceals a lot of attractions for recreation and sports. Here you will not encounter huge queues, and the advantages include the compact location of the entire resort area. An inexpensive and hospitable resort invites all fans of active recreation.

Poiana Brasov Ski Resort is not as popular in Ukraine as other advertised resorts. The place is exotic and pleasantly pleased with the prices. This makes it very attractive for European skiers and snowboarders.

A place worthy of Hollywood plots, an unusually beautiful valley, overgrown with relict forests, while constantly flooded with sun.

The name is very appropriate, which means “Sunny Meadow”. The sky is cloudy on rare days. You can only move around the valley on snowmobiles and horse-drawn sleighs. Therefore, the ecological environment is not polluted by exhaust gases from other transport.
