The Karlov – Mala Moravka ski resort is one of the largest winter sports centers in Jeseníky. It is located at an altitude of 700 – 940 meters above sea level. The geographical position of the resort provides excellent conditions for skiing and snowboarding throughout the winter season.
It is ideal for family vacations, as there are children’s centers, ski schools, and there is an opportunity to leave a child with a teacher in the hotel room.


Ski season
The ski season lasts from October to April, and you can ski on artificial snow slopes all year round. The temperature on the slopes is -1 ..- 5 ° C.
How to get there
The ski complex is located quite far from the capital of the Czech Republic, at a distance of 343 km. You can get here in a few hours by bus, train or by your own car. Free parking is available on the resort.
Trails
Tourists are offered the opportunity to ski on 12 trails of varying difficulty with a total length of 12 km. There are 6 blue, 4 red and 2 black routes. There is a black trail 500 m long and with a climb of 195 m. It is distinguished by the greatest difficulty of the descent and is intended only for experienced athletes. 40% of all trails are covered with artificial snow. Special lighting on illuminated trails with a length of 3.89 km allows skiing even in the evening.

Tourists are transported by 13 lifts with a capacity of up to 9,260 people per hour. Two new funiculars have recently started operating in Karlovy Vary.
The cost of a lift is 450 CZK per day for an adult and 350 CZK for a child.
The Karlovy Vary – Mala Moravka Ski Resort also offers about 70 kilometers of prepared trails for cross-country skiing.
For those who want to improve their skills or learn to ski from scratch, the resort has a high-class school with experienced instructors.

Hotels
On the territory of the Karlov – Mala Moravka resort, vacationers are provided with various accommodation options: business-class hotels, mini-hotels, hostels. The price of accommodation depends on the level of comfort provided, so budget tourists should choose a mini-hotel. For a comfortable family vacation, three-star hotels or apartments are suitable.
Hotel Kamzik 3-star hotel

Hotel Kamzik is located in the town of Mala Moravka and offers an indoor pool and a gym. It offers rooms with a private balcony and free Wi-Fi. Ski slopes are just 200 metres away.
Guests can enjoy local home-cooked meals in the hotel’s restaurant, and half-board or full-board options are available. The bar offers a wide range of soft drinks and Moravian wines.
The rooms at the Kamzik Hotel feature a seating area and satellite TV. Each room has a private bathroom.
The hotel’s indoor wellness area includes a Finnish sauna, an infrared sauna, a steam bath and a hot tub. Guests can use the sauna and a tennis court. There are also 2 outdoor hot tubs and saunas. The Pradyd and Jeseník Valleys (9 km away) offer many hiking trails. Cross-country skiing is possible on the nearby slopes until late at night.
The Kamzik Hotel is located 500 metres from the bus station. The Sowinec Castle is 24 km away. Free private parking is available on site.
Wellness hotel Sauna 3-star hotel

The Sauna Wellness Hotel is located in the village of Mala Moravka, surrounded by mountains and meadows. It offers a restaurant serving Czech and international cuisine, a spa area with saunas, a hot tub and massage rooms, free Wi-Fi, and table tennis.
All rooms at the Sauna Wellness Hotel feature a balcony with panoramic mountain views and a bathroom with a shower. Some also have a bathtub or an equipped balcony.
The wellness hotel is located right next to the ski slope in the Ski Arena Karlov area. Ski passes can be purchased on site and ski storage is available. Guests can also visit the ski school, while children can have fun on the outdoor playground and in the games room.
After a long and busy day, guests can enjoy a drink at the bar or relax in the shared lounge.

Holzberg 4-star hotel

Sights
In their free time, tourists can visit the picturesque town of Studanka, located 6.5 km from the resort. No less interesting excursions in the surrounding area allow you to admire the Pradíd mountain, visit the Bílá Opava valley with its many rapids and waterfalls.
